A little history...
Fidélis is a work of popular education, founded in 1928, at the instigation of Father Lhande. At that time, he wanted to serve as a “signpost” to direct dedications to the underprivileged populations of a few suburbs at the gates of Paris.
Thus in the neighborhood of La Boissière, almost deserted at that time, the Saint-Maurice Chapel was inaugurated on Easter Day 1928, while on nearby land a Catholic school was built which was blessed on November 17, 1928, by Cardinal Dubois, under the name “Virgo Fidélis
